Tommy Amethyst
Description: Created in 1928 and first used to set a table in Versailles' Hall of Mirrors. Tommy was dedicated to a special luncheon for the King and Queen of England commemorating the collaboration of the British in French. In WWI British soldiers were affectionately nick-named "Tommy", due to the popularity of the name in England at this time. Nine different hand-cuts on a tulip-shaped bowl make this pattern a signature of Saint Louis's master cutters.
